Evil Santa Loves E-Cards
I am always shocked at how easy it is to fool people into giving up not only their own personal data, but their friends and loved ones as well. I just saw an online friend post a link to a cute little Christmas E-card. It looks so innocent until you look in the upper right corner. There is where you give them your friends email. This is an age old scam people. It is as old as the internet itself.
This is called harvesting data. They trick you into giving them all your friends contact info. Then they sell that info so that your friend can get tons of spam. Follow the money! How do you think they pay for this crap? They sell the data collected. Do you see a “privacy policy” anywhere? There is a reason. You have no privacy when it comes to an online greeting. E-cards are all scams! Do not send them to me. Do not send them at all! Do you like spam? Then by all means keep this up.
Oh yeah, Farmville (and games like it) are a scam as well.

People always ask me what I want for Christmas. Of course no one really wants to get me the strange rare metal cd’s I have asked for over the past several decades. If you do feel free to check out my Amazon wish list HERE. However, for the people that would rather get me something else I have some suggestions.
Last spring I got into a wreck that messed me up enough that I have not been able to be as active as I used to. I used to ride my bike to and from work almost everyday. I have not replaced my bike since the wreck and because of that have put on some extra weight. So many of my shirts no longer fit! Well, I also now start work at 12:30. When you work during the day at a school there are less shirts that are appropriate. So I need some new shirts! So here are some shirts I would like, but would also be appropriate for my job.
Please ONLY get 4X in the size!
Please check with Sherri (my wife) if you are worried about duplicates.
Yeah, I know my readers are not used to me posting stuff that is actually personal here, but I will get back to my usual rants and diatribes soon I promise. This is a very rare personal post.
