Bands On Twitter

Ok, so I have had a few requests for this so here it is. A list of bands on Twitter. This is a list I will try to update as often as possible. Please by all means let me know any bands that should be added.

Rules: No rap vocal bands, no emo bands, no ‘indie’ bands, & no techno dj’s. Only metal, rock, punk, industrial, goth, grunge, grind, or glam please.

Why this list? Because every list of Twitter bands I have seen has been full of the lamest crap available. They ignore the heavy stuff. So screw them! This is a list of the heavy bands on Twitter. Enjoy, add to it, and please spread this around! Someday I might get one of my programmer friends to help me automatically rank this list. Until then…

When you try and make a list like this you get flooded with requests for bands to add. Please DO NOT send just the band’s name. I need the specific Twitter account url because many bands do not just use their band name for the account name. It’s not as easy to search as you would think. With about tons of requests to add bands a day, there is no way I can hunt down each one. I hope you understand. I really do need the specific url of the band’s official account.

Also, do not tell me what follower lists I can hunt through to find bands. That takes an entire day and unless the bands make it clear they are a rock/metal/punk band they will be missed as I skim over thousands of accounts in a follower list. Again, I hope you all understand. Anything other than the specific url does not help.
