Now I know this is way off topic for this blog, but I thought it was some good information to get out there. Besides, musicians need day jobs too. So in a way this is kind of on topic. Ok, that’s a stretch, but I promise I won’t post this kind of thing too often. I hope this helps someone. Good luck people.
Every ten years, the U.S. government conducts a census. The data gathered
from this count is essential to determine how federal monies are spent on
things like our K-12 public schools and specifically our District.
It’s also a big undertaking. The good news is that the Census Bureau has
quite a few jobs available to folks on a part-time or full-time basis.
Listers and address convassers earn $13.25 per hour, Crew Leaders earn
$14.75 an hour, Crew Leader Assistants earn $13.25 an hour and Field
Operations Supervisors earn $16.25 an hour. The person from the Census
Bureau who visited with me about these opportunities stressed that they
have part-time positions with flexible hours.
Please feel free to forward this note to a friend, family member or
anybody else who might be interested in working on the census.

I still plan to post on topic information in the morning, so check back for that too.
