I'm Mark Carras. I am in the middle of re-doing my site, but to the left are a few links to get to know me. Down below are some links within this site.

Who Am I?
30ish, married, no kids, obsessed with computers and heavy music. These two obsessions have been with me for around two thirds of my life. When I say computers, I mean everything from what makes them tick, the history, hacking, programming, internet, web design, open source, security (same as hacking really), news, technological advancements, and a ton of other things. About the only thing computer related I don't care about much is gaming. I've even started to get into video editing a little. I really suck at it, but it is a ton of fun and I am learning fast.

When I say heavy music I feel I must be clear about what I mean. This has mostly been metal, but as metal gets more and more watered down with a false sense of brutality I find myself getting more into hard rock, goth, industrial, 90's era hardcore, 80's era punk, classic rock, and of course the recent resurgence of the 90's era thrash style. Not saying all of the so called extreme metal is boring, but if I can't tell one song from the other I reach for the skip button.

Yes, I do hosting, web-design, consulting, and other things. Call me at 360-789-0703 for more info. For web design I charge $100 an hour, but for most sites it only takes me a few hours. Hosting is $5 a month for 99% of the sites that ask. Consulting is free for a five minute phone call to a few thousand if I need to travel.
